Silence always surrounds the mine, first when it explodes and then when it eternally haunts its victims. The history of the silence of this fire hidden by Morocco in the sand of Western Sahara has left more than 4,000 victims in what is considered the largest minefield in the world. Daha and Fatimetu suffered the effect of the silence of the mines, their lives changed forever, like that of the Saharawi people who, after 14 years cleaning the desert of artifacts, the rupture of the ceasefire have left the future of the contamination of their territory.

El silencio siempre rodea a la mina, primero cuando explota y luego cuando persigue eternamente a sus víctimas. La historia del silencio de este fuego escondido por Marruecos entre la arena del Sahara Occidental ha dejado más de 4.000 víctimas en el considerado el mayor campo de minas del mundo. Daha y Fatimetu sufrieron el efecto del silencio de las minas, sus vidas cambiaron para siempre, al igual que la del pueblo saharaui, que después de 14 años limpiando el desierto de artefactos y tras la ruptura del alto el fuego ve en el aire el futuro de la contaminación de su territorio.
